I’m the kind of person who treats every project, even a school assignment, like it should deliver real results. I think in process: what’s the goal, and what’s the most efficient way to get there. I can manage myself and work on my own, but I also enjoy working as part of a team.

I started this portfolio to share what I build. To me, every data project is like building a product. Who is the end user? Who will read the report? Where does the data come from, and what questions should I ask it? Civic apps, event forecasting, startup funding, health tracking: each one started with a real question and ended with something people can use.

When I’m not on a hiking trail or caring for my garden, I’m usually thinking about the next thing to build. Some of them end up here.
